In the moment out in the cold when nothing makes sense I search for meaning and find only reason The madness takes over.

I'm lost in the moment our future uncertain our past still untold If they ever find us will we cherish our lifetime or waste it on people who offer us nothing our love for each other is now just a whisper but death brings it all rushing back

I hold you so tightly afraid of the darkness still begging for mercy my heart just can't take it each breath takes less air in I feel myself slipping stay lost in this moment as life passes by

I pray that we make it but wonder where heaven is and who will be waiting the gates so appealing if I don't get help soon I'll stay here till morning stay lost in the moment with you
